Iran-aligned Houthi forces in Yemen claimed responsibility for attacks on Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea, according to regional updates.
The threat comes on top of Iran's disruption of the Strait of Hormuz, raising fears that two of the world's most important energy corridors could be constrained at the same time.
Several tankers reportedly altered course as markets priced in higher shipping and insurance risk.
